Editorial methodology
How we write workflows, label what was tested, source facts and handle money. If something here isn't true of a page, that page is wrong; tell us.
Every guide says how it was checked
Each workflow and playbook carries one of these labels. We never call something tested unless a person ran it end to end, and tested guides show the date.
- Tested: We ran this workflow end to end.
- From official docs: Built from the tools' official documentation. Not yet tested end to end.
- Vendor-provided: Based on information from the vendor. Not independently tested.
- Community: Submitted by the community and reviewed by us. Not independently tested.
- Editorial guide: Written by our team from our own templates and sourced tool facts. Not yet tested end to end.
No source, no claim
- Prices, features and limits come from each tool's own public pages, linked on its profile with the date we last checked.
- Outside resources (skills, MCP servers, templates, repositories) link to the original source and current documentation, with a checked date.
- No invented numbers. No made-up statistics, reviews, testimonials, time savings or reader counts. If we can't source it, we leave it out.
- Resources we make are labelled "Made by AIWillFixIt".
Every guide has limits
Workflows, playbooks, comparisons and quick fixes all include "What AI can't fix here", and mark the steps where a person has to decide or check.
Comparisons
Comparison tables are built only from the tools' sourced profiles. "Best for" notes are our judgement and say what they're based on. Prices change, so every row links to the current pricing page.
Money
Rankings are never for sale. Sponsored tools and newsletter sponsors are labelled and shown separately. Affiliate links are disclosed.
Some links are affiliate links. Sponsored tools are always labelled and never change the ranking. AIWillFixIt is run by the team behind Mesrai, an AI code review tool listed on this site under the same rules as every other tool.
